Mike Daley

I've included two bios, one focused on my lecture work and the other on my musical work.

For lectures:

Dr. Mike Daley is a freelance popular music history lecturer around Toronto. He holds a Ph.D in musicology and has published widely on a variety of musical subjects. Mike's well-received lectures on 20th century popular music have gained him a strong following in the GTA. Yorkville, Mike's first book, will be released by Sutherland House Books on September 29, 2026.

For musical performances:

Mike Daley is a guitarist and singer based in Toronto. A professional musician for over 35 years, Mike has toured and recorded with Jeff Healey, the Killjoys, and many more. Mike is a longtime member of Fraser/Daley and he holds the position of Assistant Music Director at Church of the Redeemer in Toronto. Mike's lecture-concerts in Toronto and Richmond Hill under the name ‘Dr. Mike Daley Presents’ regularly attract sellout audiences.
